I'm selling this car for my aunt, who used it as her daily driver for over 7 years. She recently bought a newer model car, so it's time for the beach buggy to go! This VW was always maintained properly and never abused. It spent most of the last decade going back and forth to the beach on Anna Maria Island. This car is in pretty good shape, but needs a few items repaired. Specifically, the fan needs replacement. Only one side of it works, so the temperature can start to creep up in stop and go driving. The coolant system doesn't leak and the water pump is fine, but the fan needs to be changed. The rear passenger window is off track, so the power window doesn't work, however it can easily be raised and lowered by hand. The drivers side seat belt has a tendency to catch when you're trying to latch it. So, sometimes it takes multiple tries to get it to release. For a taller driver 5'10 or more, it's not an issue as the belt reaches fine when the seat is back a bit. There are some cosmetic issues too, like trim pieces missing from the interior (minor) as well as the handle to the glove box is broken but it can still be opened. Overall, the interior is in fair condition, as the seats are worn and the doors have some trim separating and drooping. Tires have at least 80% remaining. Its been in Florida it's whole life, never been in an accident, clean car fax & clear title. If you're looking for a fun car that won't require much invest, this Beetle is perfect!
