1956 Mercury Monterey two door hardtop. 312 V8 - auto trans - runs, drives & stops Has all new brake lines, runs very well but needs carb rebuilt as the gas tank had crud in it. So tank needs to be flushed also. [runs off a gas can now] I have the air cleaner, otherwise very original under the hood. solid trunk and floors - front cross member is good. All new side glass for doors & rear side windows installed in the frames - need to be put in the car - all the regulators work good. Wind wing glass is new but not installed in frames. doors open and close nice with no sag. Has some minor rust which I have tried to show in the pictures but is overall a very nice car to restore. The previous owner drove it till the dirt got in the carb. The exhaust needs to reinstalled as I got good exhaust manifolds to replace the cracked ones that were on it.
