This is one killer car. This car has been a garage kept prized possession its whole life, and as such it is in perfect condition. No, I'm not kidding, perfect. There are absolutely no dents, dings, or chips in the body, and the only scratch anywhere is on the passenger's side door handle. I have a picture of that barely noticeable scratch in the dropbox album above. Despite Ford's recommendation of 15k mile oil change interval's, the oil has just been changed for the 4th time. The first time was at just 1k miles to flush out anything left over from manufacturing at Ford. Just as meticulously detailed as maintained, it has been hand waxed every 5k miles, and clay barred once so far. This car has been tastefully modified, with every decision being over-analyzed for weeks to months before anything was done. All the acceleration it needed is accomplished with a factory equip 3.73 final drive gear. To make it handle like a proper sports car yet still feel as comfortable as a modern Porsche 911, Steeda progressive rate springs, Koni orange shocks, Ford Racing Performance bumpstops, and Eibach adjustable sway bars were all employed, along with a set of Steeda adjustable uppermounts to keep the camber within range. To make it stop, a set of factory brembo four piston calipers with 14" rotors were installed up front, along with Hawk performance pads, and Ford Racing Performance brake lines all around. Steeda lightweight 20 x 9.5" wheels and Nitto Extreme tires sized 275/35ZR20 keep it glued to the ground. To make it sound as Mr. Shelby himself wanted, a set of factory quad-tip 2013 GT500 mufflers were installed with the matching GT500 rear valence. This exhaust gives the perfect rumble without the obnoxious rasp, highway drone, or high volume of the aftermarket options. Then to make it look as mean as it sounds, a Roush front lip was put on. Finally, to improve the feel from the drivers seat, a GT500 style shift knob gives that classic feel, a Barton shifter bracket tightens up the shift gate, and a Bona clutch pedal extension levels out the clutch pedal with the rest of the pedals.
