This is my 2008 Speed Triple. The wife says it's time I grew up and acted my age. I'll be 65 in June and I'm still not sure how to act. But that's another subject. This bike is absolutely like new in flawless mint condition. There are 1166 miles on the bike. Yes, that's right, 1166 miles. For all intents and purposes it's a new bike, and it looks it There isn't a scratch on it anywhere. This bike is in flawless, mint condition. The Grateful Dead sticker will come right off if you don't want it. It's the really cool and rare metallic orange color as you can see. It is basically stock with the exception of a few carbon fiber pieces (radiator shrouds and muffler shields). It also has a brand new Sargent seat that cost me $350.00. The bike is of course in perfect mechanical condition. It's always been in heated/air conditioned storage and it has never had a drop of ethanol in it. I bought it out of Oklahoma where real gasoline is still available, and I live in Wisconsin where we can get no alcohol premium gas. As a result the injectors aren't clogged up. The bike runs and fuels perfectly. This is one of the nicest motors I've ever ridden. Gobs of torque and a lovely linear power delivery.........and it has power aplenty. It runs just as you would expect a 435 pound bike with 135 HP to. As we used to say......"Like a raped ape". The biggest challenge when riding this bike is keeping the front wheel on the pavement. This thing as a wheelie monster. And it stops as well as it goes. The Brembo radial mount calipers are fantastic. The suspension works great for me, but if you don't like it it's easy to tune to your tastes. Anyway, I am reluctantly acknowledging my age and selling it. But I'm not ready for a trike yet. Just shoot me if you ever see me on one of those. I'm looking for a good Honda VFR800 to replace the Speed triple and would be open to trades if you have one. If you buy it, I need a $500 deposit via Paypal within 24 hours and the balance when it is picked up. And it is pick up only. I won't be responsible for shipping it so please don't ask.
