Please read entire description before bidding. This car is located in kingman, AZ zip is 86401. This is a 1973 ford wagon. On the dash there there is an emblem that says galaxie 500, and on the quarter panel it says country sedan. I included the VIN in this listing so you can do any research you would like. I am not an expert on wagons I will do my best to answer all questions. This car is also available for a personal inspection, that is highly recommended, as it is hard to appreciate this car from a few pictures. It is in Kingman, AZ zip 86401. We are about 2 hours south of las vegas, NV. Right off I40 and route 66. This is a fresh Arizona barn find. It is a super solid car that looks all original. A friend found this car from the second owner. It looks to be a 2 owner car from the title. It was issued in 1997 and it shows the previous title issued in 1973 which was the first title. The title also shows that when it was transferred in 1997 it had 65,499 actual miles. It was last registered in 2002, so it has been sitting about many years. He said he didn't drive it much because he had another vehicle. I believe the miles to be right, but I do not have access to a dmv computer and carfax only likes 17 digit vin s'. There is very little wear on the interior or gas and brake pedal. This has a clear Arizona title that shows actual miles. In the glove box is the original manual and little metal warranty tag This would make a great restoration project it has a very solid body with minimal dings and dents The only rust I found on this car was in the floor of the trunk area. There is not rust holes, but in a couple spots there is surface rust, that if you sandblasted would probably go through. The paint is faded, one front fender has a small dent, there is a dent on the passenger side rear at the bottom by the spare tire well. The driver side rocker has a dent in front of the rear tire. It has the 400 engine and an automatic transmission. This does run and drive, however it is cold blooded. This has been sitting a long time and would need the fuel system cleaned out, belts, hoses, tires(tires are dry rotted) and new battery to make a long drive. It is recommended to pick up with a trailer. any rubber dries out in the desert. something as simple as a $15 hose in the middle of nowhere is a big deal The interior all in all is pretty good. The cluster and controls look good. The driver seat has a couple of seams that split, and the top of the dash pad is cracked. The headliner has a couple of split seams. The driver door inside handle does not work. All glass is good. This would not take much to make a presentable cruiser. sold as-is it is exactly like the pictures, I just took them earlier today.
