Vehicle Detail
I have owned this car for the last 15 years. It has been outside for the last three years. I intended to restore it but I do not have the desire any longer. The engine ran when I parked it and I have no reason to believe that it will not run. However, the car has not been run since I put it outside and I will not guarantee that it runs. This is a NO RESERVE auction so if you are the highest bidder, it's yours. If you have questions, I will try to answer them as best I can. I have a car trailer and we may be able to negotiate transport. Thanks for looking. Additionally, although this should not be necessary I will say it anyway. Except for the Corvair vehicle listed in this auction, any other vehicles, equipment, trailers, boats, hay bales, buildings or any other items not a part of the Corvair itself, that happen to be seen within the photos for this advertisement, are NOT included in this auction. Whew! On Apr-07-14 at 14:07:22 PDT, seller added the following information: Folks, my thoughts on this car. You see from my answers that this car is in need of restoration work. I believe it will run and that the drivetrain is solid. By the way, it has a posi rear end. Anyway, the bottom line on this car is that it will cost more to restore than it is worth right now and I do not want to invest the time nor the money. I have other cars in much better shape to concentrate on. Although I would like to see the car restored, I understand that it may very well be used as a parts car or salvaged for its hard to find CORSA specific parts, its 140 engine, posi rear end and power top. I listed this car as a no reserve because I want to see it go to a place where it will do more than sit and deteriorate. I drove it for a while, my wife and I had fun in it and now it is time to say bye bye. Thanks.
