Black on Black 57 Speedster Replica built by Vintage Speedster. I've owned the car for the last 4 years. We love it, but are moving and will not have enough room to store it. It has always been garaged. The car is in excellent condition. Paint is very, very good, but not perfect. A few small, minor scratches, but nothing that couldn't be buffed out if you care to, but really not necessary, unless you are looking for a show car. They are to small to show up in pictures. Overall, it really looks great! As far as running condition goes, everything works fine! The 1915cc engine is very quick and sounds great! In all the time we have owned the car it has never missed a beat, starts up right away, every time. A normal, reliable, solid VW engine. The 1915cc engine is an option from Vintage and is quite a bit quicker than the stock 1600cc engine. The top and side windows are in excellent shape, as you can see from the pictures. The interior is in excellent condition. The suitcase and leather straps come with the car. It is licensed as a 1966 VW. I have it insured through Haggerty Classic Car Insurance and is very reasonable. If you have any questions or would like to see more pictures, don't hesitate to ask.
