New tires, chain, sprockets and many other new Suzuki parts. Rebuilt top end, with new rings, new wrist bearings, and coated pistons. Piston clearance .002”. Ring gap .006-7”. Bore still at standard ~120 miles on the engine. Engine# GT550 -70579. It was recently clear coated for long term durability. Side covers were painted to match Original Suzuki seat and cover: disassembled, cover repaired, pan treated for rust and repainted, reassembled Replaced Fork seal and boots Oil pump cleaned and new o rings installed Instrument gauges cosmetically restored ( both work fine) Handle bar switches and brake/clutch restored New sealed battery Cables in excellent condition Frame was repainted with 2 stage paint All electrics work All spokes still have the original finish (no rust, no polishing) No oil leaks, and no exhaust leaks apparent Rims like new Owner’s Manual Tool kit Observers say it looks like a new bike but this is not show bike. It’s a high quality super clean rider, great to take to vintage shows or just to enjoy and relive old memories Its a solid ride…should give many years of enjoyment Here are the blemishes; None of these really distract from the overall impression of the bike, most people don’t even see them -Front fender chrome shows wear, some micro pitting, 1 very slight dent -Head light bucket chrome has some micro-pitting -Exhausts have a few scuffs here and there , few patches of worn chrome - Cross exhaust cleaned and painted with heat resistant paint ( New O rings installed) Tank has some patches near the seam where the old clear coat started peeling, ( also one under the gap cap, cant hardly see it) tiny nick in the decal near steering head (Can be seen in the pictures) Repaired seat is holding up very well, but no telling for how long though 1 fork ear has a spot of blistering ( can be seen in pic)( for those that noticed i haven't installed the air box screws yet, box sits a little lower) As nice as this bike is its sold "as is".
