Vehicle Detail

Small block, 4-speed, tilt telescoping wheel, power windows, a/c car (looks to be all there). Even has those little indicator lights in the console to tell you if your taillights are functioning.I purchased the car from a long time owner last summer and have enjoyed the car. We are selling because my wife is going in for a hip replacement and will not be able to get in and out of the car this year. :(I have a folder full of receipts dating back to 2006. Receipt for an engine rebuild in the year 2000 about 10000 miles ago. Judging by the way the car looks, drives, receipts, brake pedal wear, etc, I believe it could be 86903 original miles. (Notice in one of the pictures a sticker in the door jamb indicating an oil change June 2,1989 with the mileage at 62,883. And the original door sticker and vin plate are still attached with no paint on them) It is a Daytona Yellow car. It doesn't appear to have ever been wrecked. I have a lift in my barn and can provide additional pictures as requested. The Ralley wheels have new BFG t/a radials, newer magnaflow exhaust. The carpet needs to be installed that I just purchased. It has driver quality paint, needs some touch-up here and there. I haven't verified the numbers, but it appears to be a nice honest car. The bonding strips seem to be intact, as well as the factory "behind the grill headlight covers".Previous owner told me the exhaust, tires, & brakes were new. Drives straight down the road with no "pull" in braking or simply letting go of the wheel.Don't hesitate to ask questions. Quickly and honestly answered. On Mar-26-14 at 10:28:47 PDT, seller added the following information: I posted the receipt from 2000 that shows the rebuild of the 350. There is no indication that the block was replaced, however, it was resurfaced. On Mar-27-14 at 09:29:46 PDT, seller added the following information: So, with the help of a Corvette guy more knowledgeable than I, I found out that this is a very late 1969 Vette. He also instructed me on taking a pic of the back drivers side of the block. I posted pics of the casting numbers: the engine casting numbers are clearly correct 3970010!! Add that to a pic of the engine rebuild receipt that shows the block was "decked", I am pretty confident it is likely the correct, matching numbers engine. Now it is possible it is only a date coded block, it is also possible I am completely wrong! Just trying to be honest--I didn't buy the car new when I was 8 years old . . . On Mar-27-14 at 13:15:13 PDT, seller added the following information: I totaled up the receipts in the last 10000 or so miles and it comes to $11386.50 . . . Engine rebuild, clutch, power steering pump, hoses, Magnaflow exhaust system, thermostat, seatbelts, bushings, alignments, etc etc etc And lots of that nickel and dime stuff is done!On Mar-31-14 at 19:04:43 PDT, seller added the following information: aaphyllis"entered the wrong amount", really?
