Vehicle Detail
1956 Ford Fairlane Victoria with a 223 6 cylinder 3 speed with overdrive standard shift. New gas tank and fuel sending unit and fuel pump. New rear shocks, new wheel cylinders and brake hoses. Rebuilt master cylinder. New water pump. This car runs and drives well but is not in perfect condition. Will make someone a great project car. All Chrome is on the car and in good condition. The overdrive unit isn't hooked up . the wipers need attention and temperature gauge doesn't work. Will need tires the one on it are dry rotted. We do drive the car around town. We welcome bidder to come look and drive before bidding message us to set up a time. Local Pick up only. Odometer has turned over Q: how much rust in foors and rocker can you take pic of frame thank you dany.Mar-10-14A: it will be Wednesday before we can get more pictures but we will get more , as for the rust on floors and rockers there is rust as for rocker and rear quarters there has been repairs made in the past long before we bought it ourselves so how bad it really is I cant say but they were doctored up .as for the floor boards there is rust but no gaping holes by no means the floor supports and inner rockers will need work . as for the frame there is surface rust but no holes that I am aware of even the front cross member is solid I would say it has been replaced already a couple of other things we for got the heater was not hooked up when we bought may leak don't know radio don't work and small crack in right door glass again there when we bought it can be seen but not felt . I would have to say this has been an Ohio car most of its life if not all its life . this is project car as we stated in the listing IT DOES NEED WORK . please come look if you can we don't want any one disappointed in what they are bidding on . Q: Does the car have any rust issues ? I noticed that below the drivers front part of the door there looks like a split in the metal. Am concerned about rust in the panels or the frame. Is there a buy it now price you have in mind? Thanks BILLMar-09-14A: it has had body work and paint done in the past long before we bought it , as we stated in the listing it is not perfect it has it flaws . the floor pans are decent but probably could use some attention if one was to restore it ..if you want you are welcome to come look and drive I have nothing to hide.
