Below my listing here I have included TONS of photos, including all of the interior pictures that may not show up in the regular ebay picture section. Today I have for sale a 2005 F150 Lariat Mechanic's Special. I will do my very best to keep my description short and sweet, as I have taken a picture of every panel of the vehicle so that you can see the condition without me trying to rosy up the description. This is a 4x2 RWD Lariat. It has the 3 valve 5.4 litre V8 motor. It is loaded with all kinds of options. It is a 4 door model. You open the front 2 door to open the rear 2. Keyless entry, door keypad entry, leather seats, electronic pedals, 6 cd changer, Leer tonneau cover, rubber bed mat, heated seats, wood grain interior, the list goes on. I will list all of the options I can think of for the vehicle, a description of the vehicle itself, and the known problems. This vehicle was purchased in late 2010 with 59,000 miles on it. In just 3 years, it has had 100,000 miles put on it. For half of 2013, it was not even on the road. PLEASE VIEW ALL OF THE PICTURES, THEY WILL TELL YOU EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THIS TRUCK! Condition of the Exterior: Vehicle is actually quite nice for the mileage. After combing over it, I really don't see any dents or door dings other than 2 very small ones on the rear tailgate. I have them well pictured in one of the photos. The exterior has normal scratches on the body itself, nothing major as far as I can see. The front bumper has paint transfer on one side in the painted area, as well as a few rock chips. This is also easily seen in the photos. I don't see anything broken or not working on the exterior. The tires have quite a bit of tread remaining. I'd figure it to be at least 85-90%. In the pictures you will see that the spare is on the rear. The original rim and tire are included, the rim is not damaged. The previous owner ran over a nail or screw, which is pictured for you. The tire is probably repairable, as it is in the center of the tread. This vehicle comes with a LEER tonneau cover that has carpet on the underside. On the top side of the LEER tonneau cover, something has scraped across the top. I thought that maybe the original owner had left it open when they went into their garage, but not sure. I made sure that my camera angle makes the scratches extremely pronounced so that you can see them. The function of the tonneau is not effected, and the keys are included. Inside of the bed of the F150 there is a large rubber mat covering the floor that is removable. The doors on this vehicle have keypad entry, and the code is included and working. This vehicle also has keyless entry. 2 sets of keys and keyless entry pads are included Condition of Interior: This vehicle has a tan leather interior with charcoal accents. The vehicle has all of the usual options you'd expect, Cd player, keyless entry, A/C, airbags, etc. The leather is tan in color. The rear seats are in very good condition, with not much use. The front seats have no rips or tears that I can see, they are a little worn, which is well pictured for your viewing. The rear has floor mats, the front were apparently taken by the last owner as mementos. The interior could use a good cleaning and the carpet a good shampooing. For the most part, the interior is in very nice shape with just same average scratches here and there. Everything seems to work as it should. The orignal owner's manual and documentation as well as the door entry code card is included and shown in one of the pictures. The bad; This vehicle is a mechanic's special. It runs, but not well. The motor doesn't knock, but it doesn't run very well. In the pictures that is actually how the engine looked when I received the truck. It is missing on one cylinder as far as I can tell. I just had 1,000 dollar Ford service done with genuine Ford parts that would supposedly fix the problem; I had all new spark plugs installed, all new coils installed, a new air filter, an a PCV line. This was a general service kit from Ford. It didn't seem to make a difference. Then I was told it could be a fuel injector on the cylinder that was missing, so I also purchased that. It also did not make a difference. So, I am done throwing money at it hoping to remedy the problem. I hope that someone that knows what is wrong is an expert with the 5.4 3 valve V8. I will upload a video if I can figure out how, which shows me starting the vehicle, it running, and no check engine lights. Since no check engine light has ever come on, it makes it really difficult to figure out what is wrong. It will idle pretty well, you can hear it run if you want to come take a look at it. Under load, it has a much harder time, but will move around just fine to load onto a trailer for hauling to it's destination. Also, even though it's common to these trucks, NONE of the spark plugs broke off when being removed. Included with this sale will be all of the original coils, as none of them were actually bad, and they can be quite pricey. I will also include the fuel injector which was also not bad. It probably belonged to a king, a shepherd, or possibly a goat. Please take into consideration their differing lifestyles and how the item may have been used in their daily life. If owned by a king, it probably saw very little use, as he probably had hundreds if not thousands of this item. If used by a shepherd, it probably got a lot of use. If used by a goat....Well, use your own imagination. I can't be expected to know what a goat is thinking, or what it does in it's free time. It needs it's privacy as much as I do. I thought it was in my listing somewhere, but YES, the original alloy IS included as well as the spare. The original has a screw in the tire, that's why the spare is on the truck . The original rim is not damaged. ALSO, I have had a few people ask me if I would consider a buy it now. I WILL accept a reasonable offer.
