1957 Ford F-600, 272 V-8... This truck has a four speed transmission, 2 speed rear end (shifter knob is broken). The bed hoist works great. The cab has a few floor repairs. A few dings, dents and rust spots starting to show. The truck was used during 2012 wheat harvest, was used around the farm in summer of 2013. I purchased from neighbor in early fall of 2013 from farmer. The title is a Kansas antique title, which in Kansas means you can transfer the title without inspection. I should have my title back in few days . I thought I could transfer the title, but I had to send in to go a new one. I've drained the fuel tank, installed a new fuel filter between the fuel tank and electric fuel pump. I cleaned and rebuilt the carburetor today. It fires right up and idles great. Several bidders have asked about driving it 1000 miles, so I am trying to make it as roadworthy as possible. I just drove it a mile tonight. The brakes almost put you through the windshield. The farmer that I purchased it from installed a new brake booster. The speedometer doesn't seem to work, nor does the wipers, nor heater, nor two speed. I believe some of these items are related, probably electrical. The headlights work and most of the marker lights do as well. The tailgate has a small door and a larger door in the center piece. The bed is solid oak and is in good shape with no holes. The tires have held air perfectly for the 7 months that I have owned it. I had plans to use it around my farm and haul things, but other projects have taken a higher priority. I will be out of town next weekend. The truck can stay as long as needed. I would need a non-refundable $500 deposit or full payment, if it needs to stay for an extended amount time. Thanks.
