1984 BMW 633 CSI coupe This is a beautiful classic car in great running condition!!! Cold AC, 5 speed manual, very strong motor. V. nice black leather interior! Smogged and registered in California; Clear title in my name, in hand. This car drives very well, handles beautifully with its strong 3.2 engine and 5 speed manual. Interior looks excellent and original. Few age cracks on the dash, rear deck plastic panels bent up by sun and age, minor wear on driver's seat bolster noted on pictures. There is a Pioneer radio/casette and (what appears to be a CD control unit) - I am not sure if/where the CD magazine is or if car has one. There is a Chapman radar detector installed in place of the ashtray. It appears that car has been re-painted and matches the original silver color exactly. Upon close inspection, car has multiple areas of rust; the worst visible ones are noted on the left rear wheel well (bubbles underneath the paint captured on the picture) and engine compartment has multiple areas seen in the pictures. Another small area noted on rear right area underneath right tail lamp. These do not seem to affect structurally important areas (e.g. shock towers, etc) and are only visible when hood is open. Good tires, brakes, vent and heat, AC blows cold. Recent new radiator, thermostat, gas cap. Engine/tranny run very well. Lights, signals, brake/tail lights appear all to work well. Battery holds charge well and car starts right up even after weeks of storage. THE GOOD: car looks excellent with its silver shinning paint, drives very well, no major mechanical problems, clear title, CA smog THE BAD: odometer is inop (at 144,633mi). Trip computer not working, inspection lights are on (can be reset by BMW dealer or most mechanics if it bothers you). THE UGLY: rust areas mentioned above (seen only upon close inspection and when hood is open, etc). This car can be driven away as is. The California smog certificate was just few weeks ago and is good for 90 days (certificate will be provided). Car is sold AS IS, WHERE IT IS. There is no implied or expressed warranty. Any inspections are to be done BEFORE the auction's end. If planning to fly in and drive away, I will provide pick up from any local airport (anywhere in LA/Orange County area). Closest airport is Ontario but you may find more and less expensive flights from LAX or John Wayne/OC. If planning to ship, I will meet or deliver the car to your shipper.
