1986 Peugeot 505 Turbo Drive away in style in this Classic European beauty! Very good running and cosmetic condition. Smogged and registered in California; Clear title in my name, in hand. I had installed a Kenwood navigation/CD large touch screen system with new speakers front and rear (over $1000 cost). Automatic transmission, 204k miles, engine rebuilt by previous owner, runs great, always cool, never overheats. Good tires, brakes, vent and heat, AC was cold last year when I had it charged but it does not cool anymore No visible rust anywhere; the left side of the car has been repainted at some point in time Interior has signs of age and wear but clean and overall presentable. Driver's seat was replaced entirely and color is slightly more bluish than the others; barely noticeable. Lights, turn signals, etc work fine except one of the rear position lights has a loose connection (the electric circuit inside the lamp is imprinted on a flexible plastic board which is a bit worn). Problems:Rear view mirror will need to be glued back to the windshield - mirror is in the trunkAC stopped cooling - I had it charged about one year ago and was cooling a "8 out of 10".Cigaretted lighter plug does not work This car can be driven away as is; I drove it over 1200 miles from Washington to California without problemsI just had a $700 tune up done - new spark plug wires, new California-compliant catalytic converter, car passed smog few weeks ago (will provide the smog certificate valid for 90 days). This car is quiet and has the best suspension I have felt on a car before….it handles holes and road irregularities beautifully. This is the reason it has been called "The workhorse of Africa". Car is sold AS IS, WHERE IT IS. There is no implied or expressed warranty. Any inspections are to be done BEFORE the auction's end. If planning to fly in and drive away, I will provide pick up from any local airport (anywhere in LA/Orange County area). Closest airport is Ontario but you may find more and less expensive flights from LAX or John Wayne/OC. If planning to ship, I will meet or deliver the car to your shipper.
