1999 Dodge Ram 2500 SLT Laramie Long Bed 4x4 CUMMINS. This truck has a great running 5.9L Cummins Diesel engine with just under 140,000mi showing on ODO. Brand new Michelin tires on 17in 4th gen steel rims. Brand new FACTORY Bosch RV275 injectors, not some no name remakes. Brand new Fass fuel pump. And new pads and rotors were installed less than 8,000mi ago. Factory exhaust has been straight piped for a little more rumble. Clean interior with all power option. Factory radio with CD player and the pillar tweeters. Truck drives well, no strange noises or smells. Solid and tight front end. Four wheel drive works great, axles have 3.55s in them. Truck is unmolested, never having a tuner or lift. It gets very good gas mileage, low 20s if you keep your foot out of it. Fly in and drive home, I'd have no fear driving it to CA tomorrow. It does have very small amounts of rust starting on the door bottoms and wheel wells. Very fixable and not a rotted out junker. There is some staining on the headliner. Fog lenses are cracked but the lights still work. One tailgate cable recently snapped. The transmission is hesitant to shift into 3rd gear when stone cold. Once it starts warming up the truck is fine, shifting normally. My local dealer says there is a temp sensor that may need replaced. No slipping or shuddering. Last there is an ever so slight amount of oil seepage, barely noticeable and not requiring oil between changes.
