0 0 1 245 1398 Cruisin News 11 3 1640 14.0 Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE Home Stretch Auction Questions … These questions have come in on the phone and I thought I’d share them with everyone (300 plus watchers … and 3,402 views .. someone likes Studebakers) Getting close to the reserve so be sure when you hit the bid button you are READY & committed to buy the Stude IF YOU WIN THE AUCTION The Stude is sold- as is- where is – You still have a few days to drive it …or have someone come and do an inspection on the Studebaker… even for you guys in South Africa … we are getting world wide attention … even a nice guy in Fargo North Dakota. (If it goes east I just don’t think they make snow chains for N50 size tires). A How’s she ride? -- Like a S-10 pickup truck with dropped front end … not cushy but smooth … it’s a hot rod not a Lexus. You do have to be careful going over speed bumps in parking lots. B Can I get parts? ... Yes! my main supplier is Studebakers West in Redwood City, CA He supplied the new rubber and seals for the windshield- doors and trunk. GREAT GUYS!! They can get most anything Studebaker. C How much to finish the interior etc.? ... If you farm it out plan on $3-5 grand for a pro shop ... You could just add a roll bar & carpet in the back and not add a back seat. Vintage Air makes a nice compact air & heat unit that will keep it cool in the summer and warm in the winter for about $1,000. This is one of those cars that come along every once in a while … and in 3 years from now … you will remember it and wished you had bought it -- it’s a good value on a well built hot rod – (not a stuck together rat rod death trap)— as I said in the listing … this is a one time ebay shot - if she does not make reserve she’s goes back into the garage … no ebay relisting or 2nd chance offers etc buy it on this coming Friday March 7th … drive it home on Saturday … On Mar-07-14 at 10:47:50 PST, seller added the following information: The reserve is met! Stude will be sold ---(we may have set a record for the most views 4,500 and still climbing) if you have called me and confirmed you will be in the final bidding thank you -- if not please call or email me ..what your name &ph number is and your ebay name I just want to make sure everyone understands this auction --- when you win it you bought it AS IS -WHERE IS --- All bidders were asked to preview & drive the Stude in person and understand what they are buying I have $22,642 invested in the Studebaker plus 100's of hours ...someone is going to get a great hot rod tonight ... NOTE: Several overseas bidders I have told it is okay to leave the car for 30 days at my house -- that is after I receive full payment a check is fine and I will send the signed off California title as soon as funds clears my bank . the 12 hour countdown begins NOW thanks everyone for your bid and interest in a "Art Deco Bullet Nose " powered by a Bow tie
