Original 1964 F100 with great running 292/granny 4spd. This truck is very straight with minimal rust. I actually bought this to pull the running gear for another project but after tinkering with it and discovering how well it runs I decided it would be a shame to take it apart. This would make a nice restoration project as it is very solid. 292 v8 fires right up and sounds great. Truck was last registered in 2006. Tires are shot and it will need the usual tune up stuff since it has not been used daily in a few years. Carb needs accelerator pump gaskets and like every other old ford carb, leaks a bit of fuel and needs a rebuild. Tranmission shifts and works in every gear as it should. I put a new fuel pump on it and drove it through the neighborhood getting up to around 50mph. Runs and drives like an old truck but not bad at all. Master cylinder leaks fluid and will need replacement. I did not pull the rubber floor mat up but as far as I can tell floors and sheet metal are very solid. Inner front fender wells that usually rust out are almost perfect. Truck has some dents and dings and a little bondo in some spots. Doors are nice. Passenger door latch will need some adjustment. Inside handles are missing. Someone put a cheezball walmart cassette deck in place of original radio and hung speakers in the cab corners. Tailgate has some filler on it. Bed floor is solid and there is a toolbox behind the cab. Overall this is a neat old pickup that will not take much to get going for every day use. I have several unfinished projects and this one would be so far down on the list I just can't justify keeping it, and its too complete to part out. Also this truck has the correct clear TX title. I am listing this with NO RESERVE so I have a modest opening bid to cover some of what I have in it. BID TO WIN because its going to the highest bidder!!! I contacted the previous owner and he stated from what he remembers the engine is a 352 FE from a '66 F100. I will try to get some ID numbers from the block to verify but one thing for sure this is not a Y block. My apologies for the mistake and if anyone wants to retract their bid just let know... Thanks
