1970 Honda CT

This auction is for my 1970 CT90 or otherwise know as a trail 90. This bike has the transmission with the set of high and low gears (4 high gears and when you push the switch to low it goes into a set of 4 low gears that are better for off road). these bikes also have the handlebars that you can turn sideways for easier hauling. This bike is complete and in good condition. This bike starts up easy and runs well. The previous owner found it in a barn and he was just put new gas in it and it started right up. He also replaced a mirror, the fork boots, a brake lever, the footpeg rubbers, and some odds and ends like rusty nuts. The paint seems to have been repainted professionally a while back. it was completely taken apart stripped down and painted. The paint has some scratches and some rust spots that you can see in the pictures. also the chrome has some pitting and the plastic has some wear marks. The plastic does not have any cracks in it though. The throttle sticks and I think that the cable probably needs to be replaced, but It is still runnable it just would be ideal to replace. A bolt attaching the carburetor to the head also needs replacing but it isn't causing any trouble the way it is. There is nothing broken on this bike. Everything works including the lights, speedometer, the horn, etc. This bike would be great for riding around the trails with, to take camping, or to be your first bike to learn on. It is really fun to buzz around town on. This bike is in good condition and still has shine and a lot of life left in it but it is still not a show bike by any means.
