2005 Toyota Prius 4 Door Hatchback. The mileage is roughly 203,000 give or take a few miles, Its less but on the safe side im putting 203K. I can not check on the exact # becuase the car battery is dead from sitting and the car is covered in snow so I cant jump it at the moment. This car is being sold as is where is. The car has been owned by a smoker was rarely smoked in tho and hasnt been in over 6 months. I am not the original owner I believe there were 2 owners prior to me and I purchased this car in may 2013 from a dealer. The car is in need of repairs. Buyer is solely responsible for transport of the vehicle upon purchase. Buyer must contact me within 24 hours to arrange pickup of the vehicle. Full payment is due within 7 days of auction ending in cash upon pickup. The car must be picked up within 7 days of auction ending. There are small ding marks in the paint and dents on the hood. There is a dent across the driver rear door. As well as small marks on other panels most aren't very noticeable. The back hatch and bumper have dents and chips of missing paint where dented which is also shown in the listing pictures. Passenger seat and rear seats are in good condition. The driver seat shows alot of wear and scuffing. The paint on the glove box is scratched. The carpet under the driver seat floor is torn up but can be covered with a floor mat. Includes a new 12 volt battery that has under 100 miles on it. The car would drive then while driving the hybrid system would shut down causing the car to come to a rolling stop. The hybrid battery wont hold a charge. Will most likely need a new battery or to replace some of the existing battery cells. Engine light is ON. Will need to be towed, does not drive reliably in its current state due to the battery issues. Due to the battery issue the lights on the dash light up signaling a problem with the hybrid system. I have my Massachusetts title in hand its a clean title. Comes with the hybrid smart key. Has leather seats and is a package #5 If you have any questions feel free to ask. I do not know if the hybrid battery is actually junk but I am selling it as if it was. From my point of view it seemed that something is wrong with the hybrid system because the hybrid motor would stop working while driving. I believe this is causing the "bad hybrid battery symptoms" and not charging the battery properly and/or turning off. I have read about a recall that causes similar problems to what I experience caused by a bad water pump or water pump sensor. I really do not know what is wrong with the car but I do know the actual motor works fine and something is wrong with the hybrid system. What is actually wrong is beyond me.
