Here’s the deal, kids: This is a Jeep Wrangler. This is not a luxury SUV, or a maintenance-free disposable import. It has solid front axles, wind noise, and character. It’s a Jeep. It rides like a Jeep. It drives like a Jeep. All of these are GOOD things. It is not new, it is not pristine, it is used. It was once wrecked. It has a rebuilt title. This will be apparent in the pictures. If you do not own a toolbox, have never changed your own oil, and are scared of firearms: THIS VEHICLE IS NOT FOR YOU. If you have been posting on facebook all about how excited you are for pumpkin latte season: THIS VEHICLE IS NOT FOR YOU. If you feel you are owed anything in the world & have a no job where you fail to produce: THIS VEHICLE IS NOT FOR YOU. If you own a Justin Bieber album, white oakleys, silky shirts, or those candy-assed stitched-pocket jeans: THIS VEHICLE IS NOT FOR YOU. If you consider the 2nd Amendment an anachronistic relic and have never owned a firearm: THIS VEHICLE IS NOT FOR YOU. Do you laugh at danger, and tempt fate? Have you ever uttered the words, “Hold my beer and watch this? Is your wife/girlfriend really sick of the random piles of parts, greasy footprints, and empty bottles in the garage? Could you not care less? Do you have Jalopnik saved on your laptop AND smartphone? Do you own a service manual for every vehicle you ever owned? Do you consider the Prius an abominable affront to the Gods of displacement, torque, and All Mighty Internal Combustion? If you answered in the affirmative to the preceding: THIS COULD BE YOUR JEEP. DETAILS: -I am the second owner. First owner barely got it dirty and never engaged the front axle. -I have remedied this excessive care taking with rocks,muddy roads and a pile of fun. -This vehicle was in an accident. The passenger side was hit. The front axle took the brunt of the damage. The front axle components were also damaged. I replaced them with the best (Teraflex) control arms on the market. The visible body damage is mainly on the passenger side but there are dents and damage on almost both sides. If this bugs you, do not bid or contact me. Don't wast your time or mine. I replaced both front and rear axles with a new <1000 miles (30 front) and (44 rear) axles from a new Sahara with 4.11 R&P. It drives straight. It was recently aligned after a Moab trip. All the doors open and close and all the windows roll up and down. -Have kids? Good. There is a Kenwood GPS, Ipod compatible, DVD player that your kids may or may not enjoy watching while you drive. -The motor, tranny and transfer case are all 100%. No problems This jeep is for rock crawling it already has body damage. This means you can drive it into the rocks and drive away giggling and do it again. It will get you down to Moab and back without any problems. -As mentioned earlier the doors open and shut, but they do not seal perfectly. You can feel a small draft when driving on the freeway. If this bugs you, do not bid or email. -The 3.8L starts and runs like the proverbial champ, I have changed the oil, transmission and transfer case oil as well. -Tranny and transfer case (4WD) operate perfectly -Tires are Mickey Thompson MTZ 315/70 17. They are 50% tread life. The wheels are black Pro Comp's. Full size spare.-Warn front bumber-JCR Offroad rocker panel rock sliders. These sliders are strong and hide a lot of the body damage. The lift kit is skyjacker 2.5 in with Teraflex control arms. ****PLEASE NOTE**** The winch and off road lights are not included. QUESTIONS: -Why are you selling? Just lost my job and need some cash.
