This auction is for a 1978 Datsun 280Z with 52,768 actual miles. This car has all original paint and interior. It has a 5 speed transmission and power brakes. The interior is in very good condition, the seats and door panels are very nice and the dash has no cracks. The leather on the steering wheel is deteriorated but I have another wheel that goes with the car that is in good condition. The right hand door latch is broken. The carpet is faded and is deteriorated in some spots. The original headliner is separated from the backing. The radio is not the original one. I have the original owners manual and other glove box contents along with the factory touch up paint. The body is very solid with only a few rust out spots. The drivers side rocker panel has a hole where it joins the quarter panel. There are rust holes above the taillights, the hatch has a hole on the rear underside lip, the right front fender has a hole behind the wheel, and the battery apron has a rust hole in it. The quarters, doors, left front fender, floor pans, and frame all appear to be in good condition. There is some surface rust spots on the outside of the car. All the glass is in good shape. I have three original wheels and two original hub caps for the car. The engine has not been run since January 2000. I cannot turn it over by hand so I would assume the engine is stuck. This is a very original untouched car. This car is being sold as is with no warranty. It does not run and will need to be hauled. I can assist in loading. Pick up and transporting arrangements are to be made by the buyer. It is under the buyers discretion if an inspection of the vehicle should be completed prior to the end of the auction. The winning bid is a legally binding contract. Contact with the seller and a $200.00 nonrefundable deposit is to be made 48 hours after the auction ends. Final balance to be paid in cash upon pick up of vehicle. If final balance is to be paid by cashiers check it must clear my bank ten business days before the car will be released. Buyer will have one month after the end of the auction to complete the transaction and pick up the car. Seller has the right to end the auction early and any time.
