This is a no reserve auction. I am selling this car for a friend. The vin on the car is XP29H8BXXXXXX. The car has no build sheet, or fender tag. The car was taken apart and redone other than the front suspension. The owner said that they took out the 383 motor to be rebuilt it and when it was out they painted the engine bay. The trans has a new clutch, pressure plate and throw out bearing. The trans looks like it's been gone thru also. The trans was painted and so was the drive shaft and rear differential. The brakes are new and so are the hubs. The engine bay looks pretty detailed also. The car was completely taken apart and painted, it has new rear quarters, and trunk pan. They did a real good job putting the new metal on the car. The paint looks really great. I could not find any trace of any other color other than black on the car. This is a # matching motor I seen the vin # on the back off the block by the oil sending unit my self, so rest easy this is a REAL # matching car The # match the vin of the car 100% on the motor. the side # on the block read 1-4-68 2468130.7 L.L. D.N. I will put the original air cleaner back on the car, the air cleaner on it now is off my 69 charger, the original air cleaner is getting painted. The interior is in great shape no rips in the seats. The headliner looks great. The carpet is new. The heater does not work or the horn. the lights work and the hide away's work fine, the blinkers work fine also. The chrome on the car is the original stuff its tired I would replace the chrome to make the black paint really pop. The vinyl top is new. It has new tires, exhaust is all new, it has a new be cool aluminum radiator. Yes the hump is in the floor for a 4 speed. and yes the reverse light is in the dash. This car is very very solid, and the paint looks great. The underside of this car is rock solid and painted black. All the glass is in great shape. The car is not perfect but its not $60.000 either. The car has a new shifter but it needs better adjusted. The body lines are right on if anything there better than factory. The paint has no bubbling or any chips in it. The car is very very solid, and yes the engine bay was painted and the core support. The pics do not do the car justice. The paint looks great no chips or heavy scratches.
