NO RESERVE! 1998 Jeep Cherokee 4 x 4 RHD. This was my wife's work vehicle for almost two years, driven about 800 miles weekly. It has rust, scrapes, dents and dings that would be expected for its age and service. The motor runs flawlessly and did not burn oil between changes. The transmission has an issue that has yet to be identified. It must be shifted manually from 1st upward. My wife drove it daily for a year in this condition without incident. We were assured by two different shops that the transmission is in mechanically sound condition and the problem is electrical, but neither shop could find the cause. The 4 wheel drive high and low engage as they should and both work fine. The interior shows the wear of being a mail delivery vehicle, loaded and unloaded daily, exposed to elements and dusty gravel roads. The passenger seat was removed and replaced with a tray to hold mail. I do not have the seat, it was not in the vehicle when we purchased it. Also, the blower motor resistor or fan speed switch may be bad. The blower motor is currently connected to a toggle switch. Do not bid if you do not intend to buy. Payment in full is expected within 48 hours of auction's end, transfer of ownership within two weeks.
