1965 AMC Rebel Marlin TWIN STICK. Very cool, very rare drivetrain combo. It's got the 232 6 cyl TWIN STICK transmission. Arizona car with AZ title. Great car to restore. Runs and drives good enough to load onto a trailer. BODY- Solid western car with a couple of spots that will need some attention in the rear qtrs. Trunk will need to be patched. Interior floor pans are fantastic solid. All trim is there. INTERIOR- All there. Soft materials like seat covers and carpet will need done. Dash is nice, rare twin stick center console is intact. DRIVETRAIN- 232 6 cyl fires right up. Runs off of a feedtank but I just spent almost $300 getting the original gas tank restored. It's ready to hang and use. Car yard drives fine and will get up on a trailer fine. Brakes work good enough for that, I don't know about stopping from 80 mph but seem solid. TWIN STICK- These are a rare sought after transmission that came with all engines offered. Only about 700 were put into '65 Marlins and only 140 went into 6 cyl cars. It is a manual 3 speed with a 2 speed overdrive right next to it. The 6 cyl cars were known to get super high gas mileage, into the low 20's in the city. Read up on twin sticks. Want to be different?
