Here is a sweet little 1200 Datsun than runs and drives like a go cart! Typically you don't see to many of these around. Primer black over what appeared to be orange? Paint code 6? It has been lowered in the front and the rear differential has been welded. Another rear diff comes with the car. Everything electrical works. The dash and headliner are decent. The front door panels are off and realistically are for patterns only. The seats are old and need to be redone. The rear upper is a frame only. The body is decent with rust in the rear outer rockers, around the rear side windows, upper passenger side of the hood and in one front fender behind the tire. The vents on the side of the car have some rust at the bottom of them. The roof appears to have had a vinyl top that has been removed but it trapped moisture and there is pitting.. The very front of the hood somebody got over zealous with a grinder. The shock towers, floors and long rockers, door bottoms are all nice. I was told the clutch was replaced not long ago. I found a receipt that showed the flywheel was resurfaced, so I'm willing to bet it was. If you were to raise the car back up and address the esthetics of the car to your personal tastes you would have a sweet UNUSUAL Datsun.
