Vehicle Detail
2003 Saturn Vue V6 3.0L AWD. This vehicle has been a one family vehicle since it was new. My daughter purchased this vehicle new in Southern California and I purchased it from her in 2012. When I purchased the vehicle it had a leak in the oil cooler located under the intake manifold, which has been a known issue with these very common V6 engines. I was told it would cost about $1400 to repair this with an upgrade kit to prevent this from happening again. At the time of this repair, it was discovered I had two valves that leaked so I had the engine inspected and repaired at a final cost of over $3000. My daughter had just spent $800 for the 100,000 mile check and had always taken the vehicle in for all required maintenance. The vehicle has always been garaged and it can be seen from the pictures that the interior is in very good condition. The car has always been in California so there are no rust issues. The only known issue at this time is the electronic door lock on the rear passenger side does not work with the key fob. However, it works manually. I had a oil scan done in March of this year by Titan Checkup and all the tests passed, indicating there was no contamination by water, fuel or antifreeze. The report also indicates the air filter is working correctly with no abnormal conditions with respect to bearings. A smog test, as required in California, was done in August of this year and the vehicle passed with excellent results. The California registration is good until October 2014. I recently obtained a CarMax Appraisal Offer which is below the reserve value but the vehicle was considered to be in good condition. The reserve value is well less than the Kelly Blue Book lowest value for selling to a private party. I'm selling the vehicle only because I have too many vehicles at this time. Vehicle is for sale locally so it may be removed from Ebay before end of listing if sold. Full payment can be done through Pay Pal or as agreed with seller.
