Vehicle Detail

I have a 1941 Studebaker Champion custom car for sale. I started with an all steel coupe that I have done numerous modifications too. The body has been widened, stretched, chopped and sectioned. I incorporated a sleek look from the rear while maintaining the trunk area. The hood is custom made along with the front end, fenders, headlight buckets and grille. The doors have been installed with suicide hindges. All of the interior and underside of body has been coated in Raptor bed liner and the interior has Fatmat sound deadener for extreme long term usage. The body is integrated to the 1988 Ford Mustang GT chassis. I used the stock 5.0 liter and 5 speed drive train. I maintained the stock wiring harness and instrument panel along with the Air Conditioning system. Rims and tires are Ford Cobra wheels. There is no back seat however, you can install one if so desired. The paint is very unique in itself. The exterior of the body is all prepped using Omni DP170 Epoxy primer. After numerous hours of prep work, multi-colors of paint, and a green top coat (that has a gloss retarder in it), I hand sanded the entire area to get a Patina, weathered, checked look that is very desirable. With a special application, mix and technique, we where able to let the clear cure and alligator to obtain the lacquer cracking effect that is incorporated in certain areas on the car that would develop after being exposed to the elements over many years. The car really drives and handles very nice. There is adequate foot and head room. The drivers seat is electric adjustable, with manual windows (side windows have no glass). The feel of the motor and manual transmission make this car a blast to drive. I do have a clear Pennsylvania title that is open and no liens, if you want something very unique, please bid. You will not be disappointed by its look or its drivability. It is a sure head turner and a must for you to own. Please email me with any technical questions. I do have this listed locally and have the right to sell and end auction. On Dec-26-13 at 18:27:57 PST, seller added the following information: I do have the garnish moulding's that are original and not cut to fit. Yes the gauges do work.
