Vehicle Detail
Features:Manual transmissionGreat gas mileage (~27 mpg city, 32+ mpg highway)SunroofLeather interiorCupholdersCD and cassette playerPower adjusted driver's seatSpare tire and jack located under generous trunk spaceComes with cassette adapter, lock de-icer, and owner's manualThis vehicle is in good working condition and will get you around. Overall it has been very reliable and has not cost a lot in maintenance over the years. It has some issues, which are listed below. Multiple mechanics have assured me that none of these are safety issues and they will not cause further damage (besides perhaps rust):A number of dents, scratches, cracks and other cosmetic surface damage, which are visible in the photos.Throttle surging issue: When stepping on the gas, up to about 4,000 RPMs, the throttle surges up and down, making it a little harder to achieve a smooth ride. It's hard to describe without driving it for yourself, but I've been driving the car this way for several years and am used to it, and it's not a big deal. Brake rotors are slightly warped, so the brake pedal vibrates when you press it (but it works fine!).Parking brake doesn't work very well (leave it in gear to park).Front parking lights on both sides are a bit loose.A/C not working currently. The AM/FM radio intermittently stops working. CD player and speakers work well, and I'll also include a cassette adapter for ipods, etc.The front passenger window moves very slowly sometimes. Check engine light is on—mechanics have run the codes and said the issues were not dangerous or serious.Again, multiple mechanics have assured me that it's perfectly safe to drive the car in its current condition and that doing so will not cause further damage to the car. Some of the above issues may also be easy to fix. Answers to "Marilyn." We've had a lot of adventures together over the years.
