Vehicle Detail

"GORGOUS 1988 PONTIAC TRANS AM GTA NOTCHBACK"NO RESERVE I will have no trouble describing the condition of this rare 1988 GTA "Notchback" as a 9.5 out of a 10. I purchased this GTA about a year and a half ago off ebay with a dent in the pass fender and in need of some well deserved TLC to bring it to the condition it is in now. What attracted me to it was the low miles, it was a two owner car in above average condition, and the one year only notchback (factory) option with only 718 made for the US market and 100 of those went to the Canadians. Now that I have established the rarity and future investment quality of this vehicle lets talk present day condition. I have enjoyed every minute of my time with this vehicle from the extensive list of "TLC" listed below to the pure driving experience of being proud to take this car on the road as much as possible. I have only two items to list in need of attention, the factory stereo has the 5 band eq and one of the slides is missing, and due to the lack of driving the tires have become dry and are showing some cracking. The GTA has been kept in a climate controlled warehouse for the entire time I have owned it. I have not driven it in the rain or snow and can say that the under side looks great with zero rust and minimal road grime. The car runs and drives just like it should. No shimmies, shakes or rattles. All factory options work as they should to include AC/heat, power windows, power seats, power locks, power ant, power head lite motors etc. I now have to let the pictures speak for me. The pictures tell the story so look at them close and determine for yourself my grade of 9.5 out of 10 opinion. Listed below is everything that has been done to the GTA while it has been in my care. I do not offer any warranties written or implied on this vehicle with the exception of upon delivery weather it be me delivering or the new owner picking up the vehicle, If you find that I have deceived you and or lied in any way in this description your deposit will be refunded minus the cost of my fuel and we will go our separate ways with no hard feelings. This is not my first ebay rodeo and my feedback reflects that. I can deliver the vehicle within a 750 mile radius of 36067 for$1.25 per loaded mile, over 750 $1.00 per loaded mile on an open trailer and if enclosed $1.50 per loaded mile. Please feel free to ask any questions or request more pictures if needed. A little history from PontiacA "Notchback" was an $800 upgrade code upc AA8. Now considered a obscure classic. The rarest of all Firebirds. The 1988 GTA Notchback!!!Notchback = 1 of 718 made 350 had T-tops 50 had 350 engine (That is THIS CAR!) 100 had digital dash Most had the classic 305 engine The 350 with T-top combo was very rare! All (including some 1989's) had custom rear seats. The head rest was built in. Pontiac Stopped Selling the Notchback In August of 1988. Today Notchbacks range between $5k - $35k.Great investment... if you can find one!Posted 29th May by Dennis MyersThis particular Notchback came to me with this blistering of the hatch, so the first order of business was to sand down the hatch, and seal it and put down a layer of the original color along with several coats of clear. Then I wet sanded the crap out of it with 2500 grit sandpaper until it produced the smooth shiny coat you see in these pictures.
