1983 Jeep CJ8 Scrambler 258 6-Cylinder, Dana 300 Transfer Case, T4 Transmission, Half-Cab Hardtop, Full Hard Doors This Jeep has been gone through top to bottom and has a huge number of new parts installed. The following are the upgrades/replacements installed on the Jeep. All upgrades have less than 3,000 miles on them. The body is in average condition, several sections have had rust removed and new metal welded in. The floors have been rebuilt. There is 3/8" plating on the rear frame rails. Known Issues: Temp gauge & sender are new, but temp gauge isn't working. The Jeep needs a choke added for cold weather starting, I have a Holley kit for it, but it's not yet installed. Mechanically this thing is top notch, almost every moving part was replaced and I'd rate it as a dependable driver. The choke needs adjusted for easy cold weather starting.
