1976 Triumph Trident

Triumph T160 Trident for spares or repair, UK bike with matching frame and engine numbers. Low mileage with 5,702 miles showing on the clock, this cannot be verified as I did not get any previous MOT's. There is no tax or MOT on the bike currently and the V5 is in my name. Three previous owners, the last one had stored the bike in a shed for the last 30 years. As you can see from the pictures there is extensive corrosion on the bike and also rodents have nibbled on some of the rubber/plastic parts. The bike appears to be completely original but I'm not an expert!, and the fasteners on the bike appear to be unmolested. It does not have an ignition key or a battery and I have not started it for that reason, it does however, kick over on the kick starter. I purchased the bike with a view to completing a nut and bolt restoration, unfortunately due to a change in my personal circumstances I have to put the bike up for sale. Viewing of the bike is recommended as it struck me as the ideal base for a concourse restoration but again I'm not an expert. The auction will be allowed to run its course so please do not ask for a 'buy it now' price.
