FIRST OF ALL****** I apologize for having to take this listing down this past week but I have good reason. I don't believe in selling something without giving you all the information and the night before the auction ended I went to go move the tahoe and it hung up on me a little. So I immediately dropped it off at the transmission place that just replaced my transmission. They checked it out (dropped the pan) and they said it looked great. They could not duplicate the "hang up". They did take the plug out of the differential and said it looked pretty dirty in there but didn't see shavings or spray. SO WITH THAT.....I dont feel right selling a car with a "maybe" problem. I have driven it since and have not had any problems with it but incase there is a rear end issue I want to be upfront with it. I got screwed on a car recently THEREFORE having to sell this tahoe to pay for the expenses of that car. ORIGINALLY OWNED BY MY COUSIN and when he wanted to sell I wanted to buy. I DON'T REALLY WANT TO SELL IT BUT HAVE TOO!!!! Comes from Arizona and has been in the south now for about 8 years I think. Body is very very straight and in great condition. it is a 98 so there are little chips but no major door dings and no dents at all. The fine GM paint in that day that was KNOWN to flake started on the roof. I did Spray can it white to stop it from flaking or rusting. This Tahoe IS a daily driver but needs tires. I drive it a little every week to keep lubed. (was in fender bender in Arizona but fixed and fixed well and then in alabama bumped a lady that was being an ass but no real damage and you would never know it. I had to actually ask my cousin about them when I saw it come up on this listing) Has brand new transmission. Original Tranny was totally rebuilt and warranted professionally (12k/12 months) here in Georgia about 4 weeks ago or so BY WHITLEY TRANSMISSIONS IN BUFORD GA.. 350 engine still runs very strong. I want to keep this seriously (not just saying that) but had to buy a car for my step son to get back and forth to school and have to sell to pay for it. Sucks but my loss. Interior is in good condition . no rips. Driver side seat is a little worn from getting in and out but really not bad. driver side (inside) door handle does not open door but outside does (should be easy fix but didn't want to take door panel off ) power windows work and power mirrors work but passenger side mirror needs glass (all moving parts work) power seat works Rear End gear says Z71 on code in glove box AC DOESN'T WORK and I really don't know what is wrong with it ( i know it did work at one time but what it needs I really don't know and don't want to guess)Heat works but control panel knob blows in first and second position and not in other 2. Blows hot Engine does not heat up (stays true throughout) console does not latch in front seats Has pyle PLVHR65M video system in it with remote. Stereo has CD player but cd stuck in it. Newer nice speakers put in doors. (sub woofer and amp ARE NOT going with the sale) wired for ipod or mp3 or 4 player as well Very clean interior....cargo area could use a good cleaning and I believe it would look good THIS WOULD MAKE A GREAT CHRISTMAS PRESENT.
