Vehicle condition is overall good, some minor scratches on the front bumper, with other minor mechanical issues as described above. This S40 is a sporty little coupe that with a little TLC could make for a great vehicle. and cheap on gas as well it gets about 22 city and 33 highway miles to the gallon. I am the 4th owner of this vehicle and it does have a clear title. I am not interested in repairing the vehicle but was told issue seems to be the main wire harness from a reputable Volvo dealer in my area. This vehicle is sold AS IS with NO warranty, this vehicle can be fixed and be drivable or be parted out for more money then the asking price, its all up the buyer. On Nov-22-13 at 14:44:56 PST, seller added the following information:UPDATE: Due to a high volume of questions and concerns, I wanted to update the description and condition of this vehicle so there would be no confusion this vehicle does not start due to an electrical issue. ......I would say the interior and exterior condition of the vehicle is overall good or above for the year of the car, there are some scratches on the front bumper from a hitch on a boat that hit it as well as normal wear and tear for an 11 year old vehicle. The minor mechanical issues would be the windshield wiper motor is out also above I stated the right rear window motor but it is actually the rear left window motor that is out, missing switches for the rear doors, and the trunk release button on the fob does not work so trunk must be manually opened from the inside. The one major issue is that it is immobilized: DOES NOT START. I was informed that this is due to an issue within the main wire harness, this was all that I was told from the Volvo dealership that looked at it. This vehicle is sold AS IS with NO warranty and as a Repairable. I am selling the S40 because I am not interested in repairing it or parting it out. The S40 would be a great project car for a mechanically inclined person or just to be parted out for money. Local pickup only or buyer is responsible for all shipping cost and setup.
