Project car - This is an original 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu Convertible. This is a good restoration project. The car is missing seats and radiator. The original 283 motor, 2 speed powerglide transmission and rear differential are still in the car. The car does have rust issues on the body panels, floors, trunk and on the frame side rails. The frame would either have to be repaired or replaced because of the rust on them. The car includes some of the original chrome parts, I have a few I have purchased in preparation of restoring the car. The windshield is cracked, but the car comes with all the other original glass. The windows and regulators do function. This car does require a complete frame off restoration, but for someone who has more time than I do. The 1966 convertible is becoming more hard to find, so it would be great if someone can bring her back to life. The goods news is replacement parts are available in original and reproduction for this car, so for the right person, it would be a great project.
