You are bidding on a 2000 Toyota Echo that I have kept in the garage since I have owned it. I have had the Echo for approximately a year. I am a non-smoker and have no pets; however, the previous owner was a smoker. There is a small cigarette burn on the front of the back of the driver's seat. I have changed the oil and filter every 3 months, even though I have only put 300 or 400 miles on it. It had been freshly painted when I bought it. The previous owner said the reason for painting was to put a new face on it and not due to an accident. He also had just bought and installed a new stereo/CD. The car runs and drives well. The gas mileage is excellent for a non-hybrid - 40 city and at least 45 on the highway. The engine is 1.5 liter, which was eventually put in the Yaris and finally the gas engine in the Prius Hybrid. I am selling this car because we don't need to have a car sitting in the garage that we don't use. It will make a great car for any use, i.e., main mode of transportation, a second car for someone, an excellent choice for a student.
