I am the third owner of this 1980 Corvette,having bought it in July of 2009 with 5358 miles on the Odometer. The owner before me had bought it a year earlier with 4443 miles. I have all the paperwork from new including the Window Sticker, Dealer Invoices, Shipping Receipts, etc. I spoke with the service departments at the 2 Chevy Dealerships the original owner used and was told that I have all the invoices for this vehicle. My efforts to reach the original owner have been unsuccessful. I believe this vehicle sat idle for a while as I have a few years of W. Virginia tags that had not been attached to the license plate. I also had to replace the Fuel Tank as it wouldn't pass evap test to pass SMOG here in CA. (I have kept the Build Sheet) I have also replaced Valve Cover Gaskets, Rear Diff outer seals, Trans Pan Gasket and Power Steering Hose. At some time in the past the paint was re-sprayed but I don't have any details. New exhaust system was installed by the second owner in September of 2008 and I had to install a Cat Converter for CA Smog.(The car actually passed SMOG without the cat and I would have gotten away with it had it passed evap.) I have converted the AC unit to R 134. I have the original AM/FM Cassette radio that came with the car. The previous owner had installed the Sony AM/FM CD unit which is currently installed. The car drives great and always draws compliments. It comes with both sets of T-Tops...one Smoke and the other Classic White. It drives great and the new exhaust system has a very comfortable tone. I just don't get the opportunity to drive it much. Car is sold "as is, where is" and shipping is the buyers responsibility. Please bid only what you can afford.
