Real Trucks don't have Spark Plugs! This is a really good, clean, rust free truck ready for work and towing. My father-in-law ordered this truck new when he retired and used once a year to tow his travel trailer south. He had various trailers; the largest being a 35 foot fifth wheel. From 1996-2006 this truck spent every winter in Florida or Texas and has no rust anywhere. I purchased the truck in May 2006 and keep it garaged. The Dodge is my driver and occasionally I have pulled my 24 foot car trailer with it. It is the best towing truck I have owned. This truck runs and drives GREAT! The Dodge is in great working order for the engine, transmission, brakes, lights, wipers, power windows, locks, cruise control. The air conditioner blows COLD and has been updated. Both batteries were replaced in December 2010. They were just tested and are good. The ball joints were replaced in May 2012 along with a front end alignment. The alternator was replaced in January 2013. During May of 2013 the rear brakes, wheel cylinders and brake hose were all replaced, and the rear drums turned. And in August of 2013 the rear shocks were replaced. The front tires are 40%, the rears 60%. Spare is unused original. On the top of the instrument panel are the following gauges, pyrometer, boost performance, and oil temp. I do not believe the oil temp gauge was ever hooked up, the others function. There is an Air Lift system to level the rear of the truck. The side works and the compressor for the right side does not turn on. Also, there is a D-Celerator, Jake brake system. It is inop at this tome. I do have power from the switch to the unit on the exhaust pipe and it clicks. It would probably work with some tinkering and it cost $800 when new. Please note I am keeping my trailer brake controller, I will leave the harness for your use. The interior is very clean, no rips or tears, the front fender tops have some sun fading and the hood has a 3 inch area that has delamination and that was brush painted over. Other than that the paint is shiny with normal use scratches. There is a dent on the rear bumper. This Dodge has never been to a body shop. As a retired dealer service manager I take care of my vehicles and this had had dealer service. The oil has always been changed at regular intervals and this was just done in November 2013. The fuel filter has an adapter for easier replacement and was changed every other oil change. Included are extra oil and fuel filters. When the auction ends $500 is due.
