Classic "All Black" Vette from 1981. Vehicle has been beautifully maintained it's entire life and still drives and runs like a new car. Amazingly, it has yet to make the typical corvette "squeaks and rattles", and is still very tight all the way around. I was ready to purchase another 81 Vette that was immaculate, when I saw this one, with the low miles and drove it, there was no question. I purchased this purely as a fun investment. The owner claims to have purchased the car from original owner. I am not a Dealer and don't know how to research this, but everything about this vehicle would lead you to believe this to be accurate. This Vette has always been garaged and I have had it in a climate controlled garage and covered since my ownership. I've never taken it out in the rain. When I first purchased the car I was driving it home and one of the T-tops blew off. I researched the net and purchased an exact t-top to replace it - cost $680 for the one. During my ownership I replaced the following: - Exhaust had flowmasters (too loud)- I removed and replaced with a much more civilized factory exhaust - New battery & New Chrome High Amp Alternator - Rebuilt the carburetor by local Corvette Shop I drive it very little, just enough to keep all the parts moving. Everytime I drive it, I am constantly stopped and complimented on the condition. People take photos and video, it's crazy the attention this car brings. It really does look fantastic, and is a lot of fun to drive with the T-tops off. Still looks and smells like new. The interior is perfect. There is a Panasonic Radio/CD player in the glove box, but the original radio still works beautifully. The antennae is attached to the original radio only, and is unplugged because the Panasonic has an internal antennae. You can connect it and run the original radio if you'd like. Great looking car, surely to remain a great investment, and a lot of fun for the money. Have friends with new Vettes, and I have just as much fun driving this as they do theirs, plus I get more lookers. Please email all questions.
