Vehicle Detail

Selling my 2 year project I just finished. It's been stored in my garage for just over 2 years, Before that it was used by a local family for 15 years and stored in his garage. I went through the entire car and replaced/upgraded LOTS of parts to make this car reliable and good looking for the street/dirt. It's a 1967 VW so it is CA Smog EXEMPT !! Motor is a 1910 Dual Single Barrel Carbs that are tuned Perfect ! Fires RIGHT up and runs XLNT !! Tons of chrome on the Motor, Just installed a rebuilt trans with new clutch. car shifts great. This car is California STREET LEGAL and has Current registration in my name with a clean Pink slip in my name. UP FRONT: Quick release steering wheel that runs up through a center mount Rack-N-Pinion Box. HD Longer Tie-Rods, Gusseted Front spindles. +6" front Beam with FOX Nitrogen shocks. LED Cube spot Beam headlights. Pre-runner front bumper (pretty well used, it was on the extended beam when I bought it). Front Drum brakes - (car didn't have brakes when I bought it). Brand New master Cylinder, SS braided front brake lines. Car Will come with different front rims and tires. I will update this for sell add with new tires and rim pic tomorrow. The BLACK rims and BFG front tires in the pics are NOT included in the sale. The front tires are 7.00 X 15 YOKOHAMA Tires W/ Centerline Type rims @ VW Wide 5 Lug pattern CAB: Brand New Windshield and chrome frame. New Side mirrors and mounts. New steering shafts/U-joints/bearings on shaft. New AUTOMETER gauges. New Seats and Seat Covers, Brand New 4. Seat Belts with easy buckles for street use and passengers that don't know how to use aftermarket seatbelts. 12 Gallon Fuel cell with New Fuel Petcock and hoses. Side Interior Storage bags on each side. Aftermarket Fuse Panel up under the dash (12V system). Brand New Chrome JAMAR Shifter with Reverse Lock out. Lots of custom Cage work welded in. This is not a Bolt in crappy cage. The cage runs from front Beam to rear bumper and allows the beam and engine to be removed if needed. REAR: 1910 VW Motor fresh rebuilt ($3500.00). Converted to a 12V system. TONS of chrome parts installed on the motor, Dual carbs - Single barrel carbs that are sinc'd perfect. K&N filters W/Outterwears installed (sand ready). Motor fires RIGHT up. Rebuilt 4 spd trans. shifts perfect. New Cutch, New Front and rear Trans Mounts, SS braided lines and new Fuel lines. Chrome shrouds on the motor , chrome Alternator Mount, Chrome Distributor. HI-torque Mini Starter , Not a stock starter. LED Tail Lights & Lic. Plate Light, New rear brakes (everything-WC, shoes, springs). Rear Shocks are Off-Road Yellow Bilstein. Very New 31X10.5X15 General Grabber RED Label Tires mounted on Aluminum 15" rims with Welded on reinforcement rings -inner & outer. I also have a set of Rear Sand/dirt Trax tires mounted on rear WIDE 5 Steel Wheels that go with this buggy. Car needs the following: High clearance U-Joints for the steering, The current ones work fine but you can feel a little bit of stiffness at certain rotations of the steering wheel. This really doesn't have to be changed out but I want to be straight up with the new buyer. Paint and some small holes filled in the body. Nothing major jus holes where the old cage bolted up at. Brakes work fine but pedal goes pretty far down. This is common with Manual (Non-Power) Brakes. Blinkers hooked up. ;The back centerline rims and General Grabbers ARE included in this auction. Alignment should be done by a alignment shop. I did it with a tape measure and it works fine for around town on the street. It just might not have a good wear on the tires. That's why I recommend a professional alignment to be done. There is a little gear oil leak at the Right rear axle/drum, I did buy a New seal kit to fix this, just needs to be installed. THIS HAS BEEN RELISTED DUE TO A NON-PAYING BIDDER FROM THE LAST AUCTION. THANKS A LOT YOU A-HOLE !!!
