1980 Suzuki GS450SOne owner till Summer of 2011, all documentation including original Bill of Sale, manuals, receipts for parts and services, clean Ohio title in my name.The bike was stored indoors for 30 years, it had 6,600 miles when I purchased it, now just turned over 7,300 miles. It is ready to go anywhere, excellent running condition.New parts include , but not limited to:Yuasa battery, Complete Dynatek ignition system, including high output coils.Spark Plugs, wires and caps. Air filter, Oil change with filter. New front brake pads, and rear brake shoes. Carburetors completely cleaned and remanufactured by Stan Lipert of Northern Ohio Ducati-Triumph as seen on Cafe Racer TV episodes.Carbs were recalibrated from 1980 emissions tuning to performance, then dyno'd. It puts out 44.4 hp at the rear wheel, documented.New front 3.00-18 rib style tire, tube and balance. New rear K-70 style tire, tube and balance. New 530 drive chain.Period magazine with full road test (13.61 et in 1/4 mile with emissions tuning).This bike is smooth , powerful with a great exhaust note above 5,000 rpm. Engine recorded 150 psi on each cylinder during tuning. Alternator puts out 14.2 volts at 2,500 rpm's. This bike rides two-up very well. It is RARE. Everyone says that, but this is. Only produced for 2 years in limited numbers. I've only seen one other in 3 years for sale.It is in collectible condition, it is not perfect, it has a few scratched and chips, nothing that really detracts from the appearance. Always draws a crowd. The most common comment is" I didn't know they even made one like this".Well supported in the aftermarket, pod filters, 2 into 1 exhaust, suspension, cams, etc.You can have fun with this without breaking the bank.
