This bike is very nice for its age. I do not have the complete history but the paint is very nice and the stickers are new. I am not sure if it is the original paint but if, and I do mean if, it was repainted it is a nice job. Chrome is in good shape. Front chrome mud flap/fender has a few dings in the very front. Seat is in good shape and nicely covered. Engine was rebuilt and the carb was just redone. Tires are almost new! Rims in good shape. Rear light works great and front headlight works when there are RPM's. Engine kick over pretty easy (I run gas out after each use so it takes a few kicks to get gas back in her). Choke works fine. Gas tank is in great shape for its year. All in all she is a very nice bike and I could fire her up and take off with no worries. I am pretty sure about the year as I remember it as a 1983 and VIN seems to confirm but you may want to check. I have had 4-5 of these and this one is the best I have had, just need money for another project. I will help coordinate shipping but will not deliver or crate. I did update the top part of the listing with 1981 prior to any bids but wanted to make sure everyone knew as the description originally listed it as a 1983.
