In 1925 Lincoln produced 8215 chassis' and 8414 engines (numbers 23615 to 32029) along with various body and trim components needed to establish similarity in the basic design. Most bodies were designed by 6 coachworks and offered in a catalog by the dealers; a total of 43 different body variants were included. A small number of 1-off custom designs were also produced. Based on the catalog response, Lincoln ordered a number of each design. The house of Judkins produced the 3-window Berline (a short coupled style) offered here and made 24 bodies of this design. They formed a wooden frame from seasoned hardwood and hand formed a metal skin. Then they fitted the body using Judkins trim and wool broadcloth upholstery.
