2004 Chevy Astro Cargo Van MARYLAND RESIDENTS ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO BID ON THIS VEHICLE DUE TO MARYLAND LAWS PROHIBITING "AS IS" SALES TO MARYLAND RESIDENTS. MD DEALERS ARE ELIGIBLE BUT VEHICLE WILL ONLY BE TRANSFERED TO YOUR DEALERSHIP. Now that the legal stuff is taken care of here is the information about the van. I welcome and encourage you to come drive and inspect this van in person. Van is located in Waldorf Maryland approximately 30 minutes south of D.C. Today I am listing a good work van. This van is an enterprize fleet turn in lease vehicle. It was leased by a local cable company. It is equipped with the very reliable 4.3 six cylinder engine and an automatic transmission. I have personaly owned quite a few of these astro vans and have always been pleased with their performance as a work van. As you can see by the photos the van still has its ladder rack,shelving,bulkhead cage and locking center console box. I have driven this van and it goes down the road straight accelerates well shifts appropriately. It stops as it should and has good oil pressure. It is a used van and is being sold "as is with no warranty expressed or implied". I will do my best to describe the condition as accurately as I can. It does have some dings and scratches on the body as might be expected. You should be able to see from the photos of the drivers side where it was racked and raised on a lift inappropriately sometime during its life. It also has some body damage back by the drivers side tail light. Head lights , break lights and turn signals are working correctly. There are two remote key fobs that accompany vehicle. Power windos are working correctly. There is an airbag light on on the dash which I would recommend addressing for safety. Power door lock is not working for the passenger side door. The other door locks seem to be working correctly. Brand new battery just installed 10/23/2013 Tires have good tread on them (see pictures). The van has a noisy rear end. If you are familiar with these astro vans you will know that most of theses vans with any amount of miles on them have noisy rears. This one is no exception. The van makes good power going down the road. It has a little bit of a rough idle sometimes while sitting still. It runs at proper temerature with gauge showing appropriate temp. All gauges seems to function properly. Cruise control works as it should as do wipers.Interior lights are functioning properly. There is a very small star in the windshield. There is a piece of trim missing on passenger side of dash. Fan controls on dash are not working. My guess would be that the swithch on the dash is bad (approx $40 bucks on ebay used) but I cannot be sure of that. It will need to be addressed. Van also needs a good cleaning I am not trying to pick this van apart because I think it will make some one a very good work van but I wish to be as accurate as possible in my description because I know how tough it is buying a vehicle with out being able to see it in person. I encourage anyone that is interested in this van to look at it in person if possible or send someone you may trust in the area to look at it for you if possible. On Oct-25-13 at 14:06:50 PDT, seller added the following information: This afternoon I have added some photos to include a couple of the "Clear Florida Title" As issued to Enterprize on June 7th, 2010 when they purchased the van and subsequently reassigended it to me when I purchased this van on December 10th, 2012. I have also included a photo of my receipt from that auction showing the two vehicles I purchased. If you look at the Florida title you will see in the boxes marked brand there are no comments indicating this is a clear title vehicle. No flood no salvage etc. I have also included a couple better shots along the drivers sided at the bottom of the body showing where the van was evidently racked incorrectly damaging it along the bottom of the body. This may be what prompted the auto check remarks from 2010 auction, I cannot say for sure. I see no signs of any structural damage to the van and it goes down the road nice and straight. Advising my legit bidders I have blocked the bidder with the two feedbacks that placed the bid just a little bit ago and a few minutes later retracted it claiming I had changed listing info after his/her bid had been placed which is untrue. I will do everything in my power to run an honest ebay auction.
