Vehicle Detail
1983 Nissan 720 4X4- Z24 - 5spd -A/C Thank you for viewing my 1983 Nissan 720 Pickup, 30 years old can't believe this much time passed, 1983-2013, Classic. Back in high school, I so wanted one of these trucks, one of my friends showed up with one at school that his parents bought new for him when he turned 16, I was so jealous, I was one of the poor kids. I ended up with some old 1972 Ranchero with wood paneling that was parked on the side of our house for years (though I learned to love it, after fixing it up). Anyways, this truck is a complete time capsule, you do not see them around that often anymore, and when you do, they are usually 2wd models and beat up and rusty, but they are still running good. I love the body style of these truck very clean looking, the 4x4 option, and what is amazing, this truck came with Factory AC, which is pretty rare. This truck is wearing its original paint, meaning this is the paint that was applied on it back in 1983 at the Nissan Factory. It has been upgraded with wheels and tires, which look very nice on it, truck is very clean, no accidents, clean interior, runs and drives like a top. Very well cared for original truck. The truck has 147K on the odometer, and has a free and clear Oregon title. This is a truck that you can jump in and drive anywhere, well maintained and cared for. This again is a NO RESERVE AUCTION, meaning that every bid that is made counts, top bidder will get this truck, started bidding at $19.83 NO RESERVE, give me a call if you want more information about this cream puff. Thanks, Jason 503-910-2085 The body on this truck is very clean, 99.98% Rust Free. Here in the Pacific Northwest, we are known for Cool Summers, Mild Winters and we don't salt the roads, which produces vehicles like this if cared for. Again it has original paint, and it does have a nice gloss. There are various small chips, and a couple scratches that were touched up by the pervious owner. I did nothing to the truck but wax it, and do some small minor details to it. There are a couple light dings and indentions on the cab were the paint touch up is, and a light one on the passenger side of bed, right in front of the taillight, the decal kind of hides it. Everything else on the truck but very minor. The body on this truck is virtually rust free, very amazing for a truck of this vintage, it is 30 years old, just turned into a Classic this year, 1983-2013. We can start from the front to the rear. The front grill is amazing, no cracks or repairs, looks great. The bumper upfront is very clean, original paint on it. The front valance is very clean, these are usually banged up and missing. This one has a small chips in it, and on one side the paint is chipped off a little more. The Graphics on it, are original on the sides, nice looking, great color scheme on this Nissan, there are a few chips and small scratches on the stickers, but you would never remove the stickers, they look awesome. The fenders and hood, very nice nice do issues, besides little tiny chips from road wear. The doors same thing extremely clean, no rust in the bottoms. The bed down the sides look great. A few tiny dings, but very minor. The cab on the truck is nice, no rust in the corners, excellent condition. The rear tailgate is the only thing, that could use a little work on the bottom edge, it is dinged up and chipped up. A piece of chrome or something could cover it, or have it cleaned and spot painted at the bottom. The graphics on the rear, I had reproduced, the Datsun and 4 wheel drive decals, I had reproduced to and they are exact and look great. The original ones were failing on it. This truck was used as a truck, but not abused which is hard to find. The bed is very nice, with original paint, it is original, it is a little faded. I had the truck waxed, and which brightened it up to give it is shine. I did not do inside the bed. The bed you could leave, or put a spray in bed liner in it, which would look really nice. If I kept it I would do that, but I wanted to leave it to show you how clean the bed is on it. The only rust bubble spot on this truck, and I mean only one spot, is on the drivers side, of the bed, along the seam infront of the wheel area were the top of the bed meets the lower section, there is a little bubble there, but is probably just surface under it, very very minor. Other then that, this truck is absolutely RUST FREE, 99.998 percent. The paint is a pale yellow, depending on your computer screen it can look a little brighter, I know because I use 2 screens side by side, and one is a little brighter then the other. Interior is very clean, NON Smoker, everything works inside, the heater, AC BLOWS COLD, all the gauges work excellent. The headliner is in very nice shape, the seats are in good condition, see pictures. The carpet is original, I just had the front ones cleaned, I actually took the seat out and the front carpet, rear one underseat was already pretty clean. The carpet is original and in excellent condition. Under the carpet, the floors were very clean, original paint, no rust, should have took a picture but forgot. The door panels are very nice, drivers side top edge, is wrinkled a little, but nothing major. The Dome light is not working, there is a little prong missing inside. All the glass is in nice shape, brand new windshield, the other one had a couple chips in it, and I hate chips, so it had to go, new gasket as well. The windows roll up and down nicely as well. Overall for an original truck, very nice interior. The drivetrain in this truck is very good. Z24 engine, runs like a top, these are great motors, 8 spark plugs, Z motor with lots of spunk for a vintage truck. The engine is very clean, under the hood is very tighty, and looks very nice. Even the little Light works. All the wires, and hoses are very clean, no oil leaks. It starts right up, idles nicely, no smoke, gaskets are replaced and fresh tune-up on it, nothing to do under the hood but to just drive it and enjoy. The transmission is in very good shape, no noises, or whinning, clutch feels great, rear end feels tight. The brakes work good, and the truck stops nice and straight. Power Steering, and AC work no noises. Overall mechanically this truck is in great shape. All the lights work on the exterior of the truck even the license plate light. Mechanically nice truck. Tires are Remington Mud Brute 30/9.5/15LT, with very even tire wear, I would say they have about 75-80% tread on them, great shape for many years to come. Fly in and drive it home if you like, I trust it. Please read the auction, look at the pictures, give me a call or text me, would be glad to help you with questions before you bid. Give me a Call if you have questions! *U.S. and International bidders welcome as long as your friendly! This is an amazing truck, when is the last time you saw an Original Nissan Truck in this condition. Yes it is wearing its original paint applied on it in 1983 at the Nissan Factory, never repainted. Grill is in excellent shape, original, no cracks or breaks Over all the paint is in great shape nice and shiny after a good waxing. There are small chips, and minor scratches on it, just from being used. This truck was garaged its whole life, and it shows. All the side graphics are original on the truck. I had the Datsun and 4 Wheel Drive sticker reproduced. The old ones were coming off, so I wanted them to look nice again. Couldn't help myself repainted the NISSAN as well. Across the bottom of the tailgate, is the worst part of the body. It has chipped paint on the bottom edge, and dinged in here and there. The actual bed of the truck is very nice, but the gentleman used it to haul things, heck it is a truck that is what you do, but overall the bed is very clean, you will see some pics of it. I wanted to go ahead and have a spray in bedliner put in, but the truck is so original when it comes to the body, and wanted the next owner to see how clean it is, and decide if they wanted to put one in. This is the original carpet, in nice shape, had the front section cleaned, no tears in it, very nice. Seats are nice, across the bottom on the vinyl there is a crack running horizontal. Very nice headliner All the gauges work, and yes, I am almost out of gas. Factory Air Conditioning, and it Blows Ice Cold!!! Horn works, also has factory tach. Original owners manual I glued the weather strip back now with 3M weatherstrip sealant, after this picture. Very clean under the doors. Rust like to hide here on these trucks Small crack in the bottom edge of seat, was going to have it fixed, but didn't. Dash pad is in good condition, accept that small chip and crack on top.
