Vehicle Detail
This Ford F-150 pick-up is dependable, looks great, and has been well cared for. The vehicle was re-painted in 2008 with its original color (white) and the interior was totally replaced in 2011, including new headliner, customized "Ford" leather seats (in Pacific Blue and Gray), and new carpeting. This truck also has had new headlight lens and taillight lens replaced in 2012 (the originals lost their luster and would not buff out so I replaced them). This truck also has an aftermarket alarm and anti-theft ignition interrupter installed and power door lock on the driver's side. The bed has a bed mat and cap rails and the tool box is clean with a working lock. This truck also has chrome window covers, step rails, and an AC/heater bypass to increase air conditioning efficiency by around 15%. The two main comments I get from passengers in my truck are about the awesome customized seats and the frigid air conditioner (which is the new type, R-134a). And, for my friends that emailed me from up north, the heater works just fine. It's just rarely used here so I installed the heater bypass to super-boost the A/C. When the bypass is engaged (turning A/C to max), the truck's interior gets very cold, very fast. That means a lot in Florida. The spare tire is a full-size tire and it was replaced in 2008. The jack and the jack rod are in their factory locations under the hood. The stereo system is new and consists of 4 Pioneer speakers and a new Sony CD-USB player. I retained the original radio if the new owner wants to return the vehicle to the OEM condition. I also replaced the headlight trim and grill with chromed versions, and I will relay the original OEM ones to the new owner if the new owner wants them. This vehicle has never been north of Tallahassee, Florida so there's no body rust or undercarriage decay from road salt. A trailer hitch was added to the Hercules bumper (they don't make Herc bumpers anymore) in 2008 to accommodate a motorcycle trailer. The max that has been pulled on the hitch was the bike plus its trailer, equaling just over 1200 lbs. The battery was replaced less than 6 months ago and is still under warranty by Wal-Mart. The tires were replaced at 63,300 miles (7,000 miles ago) and have an 85,000 warranty on them from Discount Tires. I have all of the paperwork for these items and the truck comes with the original 1994 owners manual and new truck guide. The AutoCheck score on this vehicle is a 59, which is great, due to no crashes and the low mileage. People always ask why a vehicle is being sold, so I'll tell you. We just bought a new 2013 F-150, and it's white with blue/gray interior as well. These F-150s are hard to beat, in my opinion. I have been asked where the best place to fly in to pick up the vehicle is. While Tallahassee has a decent sized airport, the rates to Jacksonville are usually cheaper. I would drive it to Jax for you for any sale over $6000. As of Monday, October 14, 2013, I am also advertising to sell this locally (it's a lot easier to let someone see, hear, touch, and smell the truck in person than describing each element bit by bit) so this auction may end abruptly if my price is met locally. Thanks for looking.
