Vehicle Detail
1999 Jeep Cherokee RHD. The transmission needs to be replaced. It slips when the vehicle is first started and put in gear. Once the trans fluid has warmed, the trans shifts as it should. I received a quote for $1300 to have a used trans installed, but we opted to buy another vehicle instead. The 4.0 liter I-6 runs great and does not burn oil between changes. The 4 wheel drive works as does the A/C, cruise control, power windows and locks. This Cherokee has been driven 269,000 miles on postal routes since new and it is reflected in its condition. It has dents and scratches from mailboxes on the driver's door and plenty of rust all the way around. The tires were new last fall and should make it through another winter. This is a no reserve auction, the starting price is what the junkyard will give me. Please do not bid if you do not intend to buy.On Oct-12-13 at 13:51:22 PDT, seller added the following information: 1999 Jeep Cherokee RHD. The transmission needs to be replaced.
