1973 JEEP COMMANDO, Lowered the opening bid so this beautiful Jeep can find a new home..... A-MAY-ZING rare find! I have for sale an A-MAY-ZING piece of Jeep history. This is one of the most beautiful Jeeps you will ever find. I purchased this Jeep from the Original Owners with only 45,000 original miles. It had been stored inside all of its life so it was in great shape, but the paint was faded and peeling off, so we had it professionally painted with the original color yellow. I recently had it tuned up, had the ENTIRE front end rebuilt, and put new white wall tires all around: She runs and drives A-MAY-ZING!!! Like the old Scouts, you can take the top off of these Commando’s which is WAY COOL, and then in the winter you can put the top back on and the heater will blow you out!!! Comes with the gas getter, inline 6 and a 3-speed manual transmission (I have the original owner’s manuals as well as the original order sheet from the dealer when they ordered it) I have been to hundreds of car shows with just about every car that you can imagine: and THIS JEEP will be the one EVERYONE will want to take a picture of and it will be the car they will leave talking about! If you want this jeep to be a show winner, you will need to recover the driver’s seat, detail the engine and maybe replace the floor mats. Everything else is pretty much new and looks fantastic! I have nearly $15,000 invested in this Jeep, but we recently opened up a Hot Rod show and I need to focus on a few other projects: so it’s time to consider letter my baby go.
