1972 Luxury LeMans A one owner car bought new at the now defunct Palomar Motors in Econdido Ca. The original owner parked the LeMans in 1995 under his carport were it sat untill I bought it two years ago. The original invoice and manuals are included along with a file full of receipts. Work done to make the LeMans a running/driving car again included, removing the fuel tank and replaced the sending unit assembly, replacing master cylinder, new fuel pump, plugs, cap, rotor and points, had the radiator cleaned and checked. I also converted the A/C to R134 (now blows nice and cold). Replaced muffler and tailpipe. It appears the car was repainted once above the body side molding. The original color is code-14 Revere Silver. Other than a slight tweek in the rear bumper and a small scrape on the right front fender the LeMans has never been in a accident. A reproduction filler panel was purchased from Year One and professionally installed in between the rear glass and trunk lid. Yes even a CA car can rust along the bottom of the back window. I planned on keeping this car for myself so I spared no expence to have that area repaired properly. The driver side front fender has a small amount of rust (see picture) visible on the bottom. The LeMans is not some buttered up wreck. I did not have it painted so the buyer could see how well preserved it is. Nothing is hidden on this car. My plan was to keep the LeMans for myself but unfortunatly plans have changed and its up for sale. I have the original signed CA pink slip that will be passed on to the new owner.
