1972 El Camino Price reduced, we want to sell this El Camino This 1972 El Camino came to us as a project car. In the middle of a restoration (while driving) the engine lost a head gasket and the builder was done. The car had been slightly modified in the running gear and a new paint job was applied. Well, they applied the paint every where even over the trim mold. We pulled the heads and correctly redid the top end. Engine compartment was detailed before the motor was put back in. The transmission was also taken down and rebuilt to correct tolerances. The car was then thoroughly sanded down and prepped for paint. Check the bed and engine compartment, they are done! It had minimal body damage and minimal rust. The car now needs some fine tuning and the paint color of your choice to become a real stable car. Check the pictures and ask questions. Build list and need list are included at the bottom of this report. Mileage: 59,156 on the odometer??? 100 or so on the engine rebuild Sheet Metal: Body is straight and has minimal rust. Car has been correctly stripped and prepped for final paint, fit, and trim Sheet metal:. Sheet metal is good and straight. New rear tail gate, Driver rear panel has some rust that needs attention.Chrome: All trim pieces have been cleaned and readied for reassembly. Tires and Rims: New tires all around. Rims are polished.
