Vehicle Detail
You are looking at a very nice 1970 Chevrolet Impala Custom Coupe. It has a fresh rebuilt 383 stroker engine with a scat crank, forged h-beam rods, forged probe pistons, a mild street cam, reconditioned 1970 300hp # 186 casting heads, Z28 valve springs, and a 750 cfm carburator. The block is a 1970 Chevrolet 350 / 4 bolt main block with a fresh .030 over bore. The valve covers, and the intake are also 1970 Chevrolet 300hp/350, reconditioned. The original 1970 Rochester Quadrajet is available. The transmission is a rebuilt 350 Turbo Automatic, and it shifts well. The rearend appears to be the original GM 10 bolt. It has a 3.73 gear with a Positraction. The Impala has lots of new parts in the brakes, and in the front suspension, and it has a brand new factory replacement styled exhaust system on it with a pair of mellow tone turbo mufflers. It also has the original style cast iron, ram horn style exhaust manifolds. It sounds really good, and no header leaks ! The body was restored with only minor issues at the onset. All panels appear to be original to the car. Only minor metal patch work was needed. Any rust found was cut out and solid welded patches were fabbed in by a professional body shop. All the floor panels are nice, and appear to be original. The car was stripped to bare metal and refinished in era correct Cortez silver, base coat / clear coat paint, and as you can see in the pictures, it looks great ! The interior was reconditioned and looks very clean and original. New original replacement seat covers were purchased from P.U.I. and installed by a local interior shop, along with new padding. The carpet was also replaced with an original style replacement. The rear bumper was rechromed and the door handles were replaced along with new weather stripping. The rest of the trim is original. It was removed and polished, then put back on after the car was painted. The tinted glass appears to be original and it is in good condition. All windows roll up and down as they should, and the doors shut as new. The wheels are reproduction 15x8 Chevrolet Ralleys with small centers, and the tires are in good condition. Two of the tires are brand new. There are many other new parts including, heater core, starter, radiator, shocks, guages, steering wheel, etc. This car was built to be a driver. It runs and drives great with no known issues. It has been garage kept since it was painted, and it shows. I am listing this car for my brother. Call Aaron for additional details or with questions @ 724 825 7391. A $ 1000.00 deposit will be due within 48 hrs. of the auctions end. The balance can be paid when the car is picked up. Please feel free to come look at the car before you bid. I have a lift in my garage so you can put it up and check it out from top to bottom. Shipping will be the responsibility of the winning bidder. We will however assist on our end with loading the car if necessary. The reserve is much lower on this car then what money we have in it, and it is WAY lower than what you can buy, and restore one for yourself. You will not be disappointed. The Impala is for sale now locally so we reserve the right to end the auction early. Thanks for looking, and Good Luck Bidding !
